Redington to distribute UAE-built AIREV OnDemand agentic AI platform across MEA

Abu Dhabi-based AIREV, developer of the OnDemand autonomous AI platform, has signed a distribution agreement with Redington to bring its agentic AI software to enterprise customers across the Gulf Cooperation Council and Africa. The arrangement connects UAE-developed sovereign AI technology with Redington's established distribution infrastructure spanning 38 markets.

Founded in 2023 by Muhammad Khalid, Dr Youssef Youssef and Kayaan Unwalla with backing from Core42, a subsidiary of G42, AIREV launched OnDemand in July 2024. The platform now features more than 300 AI agents and tools, supports over 100,000 users globally, and has customers running over 1,500 private agents in production environments.

Distribution agreement details

Under the new agreement, Redington will market, resell and distribute OnDemand Enterprise across three deployment models: software-only, self-hosted and cloud-hosted configurations. The partnership includes implementation services, custom agent development and multi-tier technical support delivered through channel partners. Redington operates through 60 subsidiary offices with over 290 brand associations and 40,000 channel partners across India, Singapore, South Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Turkey. The company reported consolidated revenues of $13.5 billion in FY2026.

Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister for Foreign Trade and Chairman of AIREV, said the agreement advances the UAE's objective to deploy domestically developed advanced technology across key trade and investment partners in the Middle East and Africa. The arrangement emerged from Intel's existing collaboration with AIREV on AI software optimisation and its longstanding channel relationship with Redington, which facilitated the connection between the parties.

Intel partnership and AI PC integration

AIREV announced a strategic partnership with Intel in December 2025 to bring autonomous AI agents to Intel's next-generation AI PCs. OnDemand has been optimised to run on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, which were launched at CES 2026 in January. Built on Intel 18A process technology, the processors deliver up to 1.9 times higher large language model performance and are designed as the first AI PC platform purpose-built for agentic AI workloads.

The engagement creates a route to market for on-device AI deployments, with OnDemand configured to run AI agents on client devices without cloud dependency. That architecture addresses requirements for government agencies, regulated industries and organisations in markets with data sovereignty constraints. The UAE has been actively developing sovereign AI infrastructure, with initiatives including the UAE Sovereign AI Platform launched in May 2026 by the UAE Cyber Security Council, e& UAE and Open Innovation AI for national security and government environments.

Channel partner support and market context

Through the deal, AIREV will provide training and certification for Redington's channel partners, with deal registration protections and joint go-to-market programmes designed to support enterprise adoption. Redington has established a track record distributing enterprise software and AI platforms in the region, with recent partnerships including Qlik in January 2025 for MEA across 74 countries, SAS in February 2024 for the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, and Altair in May 2023 for Middle East and African regions.

Muhammad Khalid, Founder and Chief Executive of AIREV, said the company built OnDemand so enterprises can run capable, secure AI agents on their own terms, whether on-premises, in their cloud or AIREV's cloud. Sayantan Dev, Global Head of Software Solutions Group at Redington, said organisations are looking for AI platforms that fit within existing infrastructure, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Agentic AI market growth

The global agentic AI market surged past $9 billion in 2026, with analyst projections indicating 40 percent of enterprise applications will embed task-specific AI agents by year-end. Major enterprise AI platforms including Microsoft Copilot Studio, which supports 160,000 organisations running over 400,000 custom agents, and Salesforce Agentforce, which reported $800 million in annual recurring revenue across 29,000 deals, have moved agentic AI from pilot programmes to production deployments in 2026.

AIREV built OnDemand on Microsoft Azure Sovereign Cloud, leveraging Core42's Compass suite of cloud-based tools and APIs. The company joined Microsoft's Start-Up Program Founders Hub in 2023, establishing relationships with both Microsoft and Intel as technology partners.
