RAK Academy celebrates exceptional A Level and IB results for Class of 2026

RAK Academy has announced exceptional results for its Class of 2026, with A Level outcomes released in August following the school's 100% IB Diploma achievement rate announced in July.

The A Level results demonstrated remarkable performance across multiple subjects. All students achieved A–A* grades in English Language, while 100% secured A–B grades in Geography and Spanish. Strong results were also recorded in Physics, Mathematics, History, English Literature and Art.

Fifteen students out of 38 graduates—nearly 40% of the cohort—were recognised as Top Achievers for their exceptional academic results across both A Level and IB pathways.

Philip Lee, Executive Vice Principal of RAK Academy, said the results reinforced the school's belief that providing students with both choice and challenge helps them thrive. He emphasised that the Academy encourages every student to discover their potential while developing confidence, character and skills to become well-rounded individuals.

IB Diploma results

The A Level achievements followed the Academy's IB Diploma results released in July, which showed 100% of students achieved the Diploma. All students scored grades 6 to 7 in Business, Arabic, History and Computer Science, while every student in Geography, Spanish, Physics and Mathematics Higher Level achieved grades 5–7.

Both curricula demonstrated consistent strong performance in STEM subjects, languages, humanities, creative arts and business.

Marc Groenewald, Head of Secondary at RAK Academy Khuzam, celebrated the commitment, determination and hard work demonstrated by students throughout their educational journey. He credited their achievements to countless hours of effort, the support of dedicated teachers and families, and a school community that believes in encouraging and uplifting one another.

School expansion plans

RAK Academy, one of Ras Al Khaimah's leading international schools, has over 50 years of educational experience in the emirates. As part of ongoing growth across its three branches, a new Secondary School expansion is under development in Al Hamra to broaden educational offerings. The first cohort of Grade 12 students from this expansion is scheduled to graduate in 2029.
