Coverage priorities

HorizonPost covers the UAE and the Gulf as a news service for residents and the regional community. Our editorial priorities are driven by what matters to people living and working here: government policy, public services, safety, property, employment, transport, community affairs and regional business.

We also cover World and MENA news — with a focus on developments that directly affect UAE residents or the Gulf region.

Standards

We verify information before publishing. For UAE government decisions and announcements, we use official sources — WAM, government ministry statements, court records. For business and corporate news, we use company announcements, regulatory filings and direct response from the parties covered.

We do not publish unverified claims, rumour or speculation as news.

Community and sensitivity

The UAE is home to people from across the world. We are mindful of cultural sensitivities in our coverage, particularly on matters of faith, family and community life, and we approach these with the respect they deserve.
