The posting specifies a Bachelor in Technology under qualifications, while its preferred-candidate section lists a bachelor's degree or higher diploma and says no experience is required.

Maintenance must comply with company operating policies and procedures. Preventive work and corrective actions follow a schedule set by standard operating procedure frequency, with the aim of avoiding major machinery and equipment breakdowns.
Safety responsibilities include enforcing engineering safety policies, conducting routine audits and ensuring implementation of PPE and LOTO requirements. The technician would also apply the company's environmental and waste management guidelines and ensure safety permitting for internal and external resources.
The posting identifies workplace hazards including chemical exposure, overpressure or pressurized fluids, noise, asphyxiation, ergonomic stress, falls, slips and trips, abnormal temperatures, and collapse or falling objects.
The employer's manufacturing operations
Founded in 1994 and based in Riyadh, Tabuk Pharmaceuticals describes itself on its website as Saudi Arabia's largest privately owned pharmaceutical company. It reports a workforce of more than 2,400 professionals and four manufacturing sites: two in Saudi Arabia, at Tabuk and Dammam, and one each in Sudan and Algeria.
According to the company, those operations produce more than 2 billion base units a year and supply 17 countries across the Middle East and North Africa.
Its first manufacturing facility is in Tabuk, in northwestern Saudi Arabia. The company gives the site's footprint as approximately 100,000 square meters, including more than 35,000 square meters of built-up space, and lists annual production capacity at approximately 2.6 billion base units.
The Tabuk facility makes tablets and capsules, dry oral suspensions, nasal sprays and syrups, as well as creams, ointments and powder injectables. The vacancy's coverage of sterile and non-sterile production does not establish that it is based at this facility.
Saudi pharmaceutical market context
Oliver Wyman's August 2026 analysis puts the value of Saudi Arabia's pharmaceutical market at US$14 billion to US$16 billion in 2024, making it the largest in the Middle East and North Africa. Drawing on the Vision 2030 Health Sector Transformation Report 2025, the analysis says domestic manufacturing supplied 30.5% of the Kingdom's total drug consumption in 2024, up from 26.3% in 2019.
The analysis also puts generics at nearly 40% of the Saudi pharmaceutical market and says they are growing faster than originator medicines. Oliver Wyman attributes that growth to demand for less expensive treatments, broader insurance coverage and an expanding pipeline of medicines coming off patent.
