Qualifications and application details

The role requires spoken and written proficiency in both English and Arabic, basic Excel or Google Sheets skills, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Applicants should be comfortable making many calls each day and following up with merchants without reminders.

The main requirements specify one to two years of customer-facing experience in fields such as onboarding, customer success, account management, sales or merchant support. A separate preferred-candidate field, however, says no experience is required and lists a bachelor's degree or higher diploma.

Tabby prefers candidates who have used CRM systems such as Zoho, HubSpot or SAP, worked in fintech, payments, buy now, pay later (BNPL) or e-commerce, and worked toward KPI and service-level agreement targets. Familiarity with Saudi business documents, including CR, VAT certificates, IBAN letters and national addresses, is also preferred, as is knowledge of Salla, Zid or Shopify.

The Bayt.com page displays a posting date of March 4, 2027, and says applications close in 119 days. It directs applicants to apply through the company site.

Moving merchants through onboarding

The executive will manage applications through activation, guide merchants through the process and oversee backend integration. Before activation, the hire must check that merchants have the appropriate access, settings and dashboards.

Daily casework includes applications that have stalled, been escalated or need urgent attention. For merchants who drop out during the legal stage, the executive will call and email to help them complete and submit the required paperwork. Applications requiring a reset involve a separate workflow: identifying document problems with the Risk team, explaining the corrections to merchants and following up until resubmission succeeds.

The role also addresses merchant concerns, inactivity and churn as part of efforts to improve onboarding conversion. Business Development, Risk, Legal and Product teams will work with the executive to clear obstacles and accelerate activation. Work with Business Development specifically includes improving the transfer of leads and onboarding workflows.

Technical responsibilities cover investigating backend and other integration errors, coordinating solutions across teams and helping merchants with e-commerce integrations when needed.

A separate merchant-access arrangement illustrates another route to Tabby's service. In October 2025, payment orchestration platform MoneyHash partnered with Tabby to make its BNPL service available to merchants in the UAE and Saudi Arabia through one unified API integration. International Business Magazine reported that the arrangement included streamlined onboarding and technical support.

Tracking results and improving processes

The executive must keep CRM records accurate and current, track each merchant's progress through onboarding, and report on KPIs daily, weekly and monthly. The listing also makes the hire responsible for meeting service-level agreements and Net Promoter Score targets.

Process work includes reviewing activities before and after website onboarding, monitoring merchant transactions and checking that Tabby's online presence follows its brand guidelines. The executive will also help improve onboarding efficiency, data integrity, reporting automation, coordination between teams and conversion through the pipeline.

Tabby's business and financing licenses

Founded in 2019 by Hosam Arab and Daniil Barkalov, Tabby is headquartered in Riyadh. Wamda reported that the fintech raised $233 million in Series F equity funding in September 2026 at a valuation of $6.5 billion. Existing investor Blue Pool Capital led the round, joined by HSG, Wellington Management and Arbor Ventures.

Tabby says it has been profitable since 2023 and handles more than $18 billion in annualized transaction volume, with 25 million registered users and 70,000 business partners. Separately, Finance News International reported in July 2026 that the company's Saudi unit recorded revenue of $378 million and net profit of $55 million for 2025.

The Saudi Central Bank, SAMA, licensed Tabby Finance to conduct BNPL activity in November 2025. That approval brought the number of SAMA-licensed finance companies to 68 at the time, according to Finance News International.

Tabby subsequently secured consumer finance and SME finance licenses in mid-2026, as reported by the outlet on July 6. Those approvals enable working-capital financing for merchants on its platform and longer payment plans for purchases above about SAR 2,000, or $533. The plans have limits of about SAR 50,000, or $13,300, and repayment periods of up to 12 months, using a Shariah-compliant Murabaha structure.
