PromptTech Insurance receives Emerging Enterprise InsurTech award at ET Indo Global Leaders Summit 2026

PromptTech Insurance has been honored with the Emerging Enterprise InsurTech award at the ET Indo Global Leaders Summit 2026, recognizing the company's efforts to combine insurance expertise, RiskTech and digital technology in serving enterprise clients.

The recognition comes as the UAE's InsurTech sector continues to expand rapidly, with the market valued at approximately USD 1.5 billion in 2026 and projected to grow at 16-18% annually through 2030. The competitive landscape includes 89 InsurTech companies operating across the Emirates, with 22 having secured venture capital funding totaling $161 million collectively.

Aby Abraham, Founder and Executive Director of PromptTech Global, accepted the award at the summit. Drawing on more than two decades of experience in insurance distribution, Abraham has shaped the strategic direction of PromptTech Insurance and its approach to enterprise risk management.

Having spent more than two decades in insurance distribution, I have seen how closely insurance is connected to the way a business operates and grows. The opportunity is to bring insurance expertise together with technology and a stronger understanding of risk, so businesses can approach insurance with greater clarity. That is the thinking behind PromptTech Insurance.

The ET Indo Global Leaders Summit represents a recurring flagship initiative by The Economic Times, previously held in Dubai on August 6, 2025 at the Al Habtoor Palace, focused on celebrating global leadership excellence and fostering cross-border collaboration.

Digital platform with regulatory credentials

PromptTech Insurance operates as a digital gateway enabling enterprises to explore insurance programs aligned with their risk profiles and operational requirements across different markets. The platform combines insurance expertise, RiskTech capabilities and digital technology to help businesses understand their exposures and make informed coverage decisions.

Operating under an Insurance Aggregator License obtained from the Central Bank of the UAE, PromptTech has built its platform through a partnership with Omega Insurance Brokers, which brings two decades of insurance sector experience to the collaboration. The platform serves over 6,000 SME customers globally, demonstrating substantial market reach beyond the UAE alone.

The company's approach reflects broader industry trends, with nearly nine in ten insurers now considering IT and cyber risks as significant emerging challenges requiring advanced technological solutions. This context underscores the relevance of PromptTech's focus on integrating RiskTech with traditional insurance expertise.

The UAE and Saudi Arabia have positioned themselves as Middle Eastern InsurTech hubs through regulatory sandboxes, government support and strategic partnerships with conventional insurers, creating a favorable environment for innovation in the sector.

Technology beyond insurance

PromptTech's recognition extends across multiple technology domains. The company's flagship mobile application, PromptTech Connect, received the Times Business Award 2025 for Excellent Super App for Enterprise Operations in May 2025, demonstrating capabilities beyond insurance-specific services.

Additionally, PromptTech Global earned Great Place to Work certification in August 2024, reflecting attention to workplace culture and employee satisfaction as the organization scales its operations.

Rather than treating digitalization simply as a means to transfer existing insurance processes online, PromptTech Insurance positions technology as a tool to help businesses better understand their exposures, evaluate coverage requirements and make more informed decisions about protection.

This becomes particularly important as enterprises expand across locations, assets, activities and markets, creating increasingly complex insurance requirements that demand clearer understanding of exposures and how individual coverage solutions fit within broader risk frameworks.

The company continues to develop its digital capabilities and RiskTech expertise, focusing on helping enterprises navigate complex insurance requirements while bringing greater clarity to the relationship between business risk, insurance coverage and enabling technology.
