Impulse Trading opens new warehouse-value store at Century Mall Dubai

Impulse Trading LLC has expanded its retail network in the UAE with the opening of a new store at Century Mall Dubai, bringing its warehouse-value concept to the community shopping destination in Hor Al Anz East.

The new outlet, located on the mall's first floor, offers perfumes, cosmetics, skincare products, watches, handbags, wallets and fashion accessories at competitive prices. The store operates on Impulse's established warehouse-retail model, which aims to deliver authentic products at reduced costs by maintaining lean operations and minimizing traditional retail overheads.

Century Mall, developed by Al Safeer Group and built in 2003, spans over 300,000 square feet and houses more than 75 retail stores. The mall positions itself as a community-friendly shopping destination with a focus on affordability and convenience, with a Carrefour hypermarket serving as a key anchor tenant.

"We are delighted to welcome customers to our new Impulse store at Century Mall. The store brings our warehouse-value concept into a convenient mall environment, enabling customers to access authentic products at competitive prices. This expansion is an important step in our growth strategy, and we look forward to serving more customers across Dubai," said Rahim Meethale, Chief Sales Officer of Impulse Trading LLC.

The company maintains over 10,000 general merchandise stock keeping units and operates a specialty division for cosmetics, bath products, fashion accessories, fragrance and other health and beauty items. Impulse previously operated a major warehouse discount event in Sharjah in February 2024, offering furniture, home decor, fashion accessories and health and beauty products at discounted rates.

Growing retail sector

The store opening comes as Dubai's retail sector enters 2026 with record tourism inflows, sustained population growth and an expanding development pipeline. The UAE's retail sector is projected to expand from 145.3 billion dollars in 2026 to 227.1 billion dollars by 2033, representing a compound annual growth rate of 5.1 percent, according to InterRegional for Strategic Analysis.

Dubai is adding at least four new malls in 2026, alongside major expansions at Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates, reflecting continued retail infrastructure investment across the emirate. Community retail centers in areas like Al Barsha, Motor City and Nad Al Sheba are reaching full occupancy within a year of completion, driven by resident spending and convenience-led demand.

The warehouse-retail business model that Impulse operates is supported by growth in the UAE warehousing market, which reached 3.2 billion dollars in 2024 and is projected to grow at 7.1 percent annually through 2029. The company's approach allows customers to purchase authentic products at warehouse prices, including options for bulk buying, by passing savings from reduced operating costs directly to shoppers.
